Led by Lynn Copeland of Simon Fraser University and with the contributions of other Canadian institutions, the Multicultural Canada project digitizes cultural records of Canada’s multicultural communities and makes them freely available online. It includes an extensive list of collections, including newspapers in Chinese and Korean and the BC (British Columbia) multicultural photograph collection. In addition, it also provides access to the online version of the Encyclopedia of Canada’s Peoples (originally published by The Multicultural History Society of Ontario), which is an overview of all the ethnic groups in Canada.
