Based on a much larger collection housed at the University of Washington Libraries, this collection includes “74 items from the Robert Henry Chandless Collection of images from China, 1898-1908. They depict images of the Boxer Rebellion in 1900, glimpses of diplomatic and commercial life during that time period, and the early wool industry in Tientson.”
